2 weeks after Haiti quake, food aid falls short
This just goes to show that all those people who store food in their homes for the bad times had better be armed. If you have it, and times get tough, people will muscle you out of it.

NOVEMBER ELECTION: Things get hairier for Harry

LET’S GIVE HARRY THE NEVADA BROWN-OUT

Harry, are you getting it yet? You’re toast..fini..over and out. If the polls in Nevada haven’t told you, Massachusetts should have. We are tired of you and your agenda, and since we in Nevada can’t send you packing yet, many of us sent our money to Scott Brown instead. It felt good, and I guess it will tide us over until November.  Talk about the hill you want to die on! In your case, it will be Capitol Hill. Stubbornness can be a virtue for a man of principle, but a man of principle would not try to hide what he’s doing. He’d be proud to let the voters know exactly how his brand of “reform” would benefit us all.

“Out of touch” doesn’t begin to describe it. Even in Searchlight, Harry’s hometown, there’s a wind farm project in the works that the residents don’t want. I guess Harry could ask them about it, but apparently he isn’t interested. If he doesn’t even represent the folks in his hometown, whom does he represent? I’m sure there’s a list somewhere, but I doubt I’m on it.  There are 16 counties in Nevada, and Harry’s not popular these days in any of them. He’s going to have to carry Clark County (which contains Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson) if he’s going to win, and he’s not even popular there. The rural counties aren’t impressed with him, especially when Harry reneged on a promise to support a coal fired power plant in Ely, Nevada, providing much needed jobs to an area hit especially hard in this recession.

What’s he going to say to Nevada now? How will he convince us that America hasn’t really spoken? If one of the most liberal states in the country didn’t support your takeover of health care, how will more independent minded Nevadans react? You’ve lost your power, Harry, and it will be a matter of time before those in the Senate realize they are following the wrong leader. In fact, it’s happened already.  Nevada’s Democrat Attorney General, Catherine Cortez Masto, brought the most ridiculous charges in history against our Republican Lieutenant Governor, Brian Krolicki, the minute he announced a run against Harry last year.

The charges were ultimately dropped, and taxpayers’ time and money was wasted for nothing. Her career may well be over as a result of what many viewed as a purely political witchhunt. See how far doing Harry’s dirty work gets you? Nobody wants to follow the loser off the cliff.  Harry, you really need to fake a health issue to save face, and just got back to Searchlight. If you can’t see the writing, maybe I can scrape the money together to hire a skywriter. Forget about being “Daschled”. We’re going to give Harry the “Nevada Brown-out”!
