It’s hard to believe it’s been 40 years since the tragic MGM Grand fire that took 87 lives. It was horrific, and since Las Vegas was so much smaller back then, most people in Vegas knew someone who was either helping to rescue people or someone who worked there. Whenever there’s tragedy, there’s hope, and in the case of the MGM fire, lessons were learned that have made hotel stays safer all over the world.
