#374 This mother says TEACHERS are responsible for her child’s behavior at school? Huh?

You read that right. In this Miss Manners column, a mother was upset that her friend told her on two separate occasions that her child was treating her daughter poorly at school.

“…I was a bit taken aback because when my daughter is at school, her teacher is responsible for her. I do not homeschool, and cannot control my daughter when she is not in my presence….”

Huh? That’s not how I was raised….

Parents need to protect their OWN kids from bullies in schools. We hear about more and more suicides in children who are bullied online. YOU have to protect them. If the last two years have taught us anything, it’s that SCHOOLS DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR KIDS.  Also, USAF ordered to pay $230 million for not submitting an airman’s violent record to a national database, which allowed him to legally buy a gun and commit a church massacre. And MORE!  #Bullying

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #313: Parents need to protect their kids from bullying.

We are seeing more and more stories of people committing suicide, in many cases from bullying, either online or in person. When it comes to children, it’s the PARENTS’ responsibility to protect their kids. Schools don’t care about your kids, or hadn’t you noticed? Take that phone away, take them out of state. You would not go back to a JOB every day where you were being seriously tormented, yet you expect your kids to, because…what? It’s an inconvenience for you to homeschool or make other arrangements? Do something NOW. Don’t expect the schools to do a thing.
