Heidi Harris Show Podcast #289: The importance of having a backup plan in life

I saw yet another story in the newspaper today about people who are facing eviction since they haven’t paid rent for nearly a year or more, and “have no place to go”. It seems to me that if you have NO plan, NO other resources in an emergency, you aren’t living your life correctly. You have no family, extended family, church family, good friends who would help out? Friends YOU could help out by living there? Have you even offered to help someone take care of an elderly relative for free rent? Think of something. Adapt.

I’ve been there. I’ve had to move because my job circumstances changed. It’s not fun, and often not your fault. The fact is, what happens to you may not be in your control, but how you respond to it is what defines your life.
