We should expect our leaders to have values and behave themselves so we don’t all get distracted by “no knock” raids on law offices. President Trump has put himself in this position, although he’s certainly not the only elected official who’s allowed Mr. Johnson to make decisions for him.

It doesn’t make me a “closet lib” or a “sellout” because I talk about the genuine threat the Stormy Daniels affair poses. If we start to live in a nation that doesn’t allow criticism of our so-called leaders, we’re in bigger trouble than we realize.

President Eisenhower said it best: “Never let yourself be persuaded that any one Great Man, any one leader, is necessary to the salvation of America. When America consists of one leader and 158 million followers, it will no longer be America.”

Character always matters, no matter who you are or what you do. But if Trump gets tossed, we have Pence!!! Yippee!
