Heidi Harris Show Podcast #242: What Trump should do on his way out

As we head toward a Joe Biden administration, I am discouraged by the anger I see directed at Mike Pence. Although I believe the election was fraught with problems, and frankly, stolen from Trump, at some point you have to move on. Breaking news: Life isn’t fair. Mike Pence is NOT the cause of Trump’s loss, and should not be blamed by conservatives going forward. Trump won the Presidency partly because Pence on the ticket reassured the Evangelical voters. He’s been absolutely loyal, and his reputation should not be sullied by Trump throwing grenades over his shoulder as he leaves the White House.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #241: Tragic MGM Fire, 40 years later. Guest – Fmr NV Gov Bob List

It’s hard to believe it’s been 40 years since the tragic MGM Grand fire that took 87 lives. It was horrific, and since Las Vegas was so much smaller back then, most people in Vegas knew someone who was either helping to rescue people or someone who worked there. Whenever there’s tragedy, there’s hope, and in the case of the MGM fire, lessons were learned that have made hotel stays safer all over the world. This interview from the Heidi Harris Show Archives – my chat with former Nevada Governor Robert List, who was Governor in 1980, when the fire occurred.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #240: Guest – Ralph Peters on the continuing China threat

My guest, Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a career Army Intel officer, retired to focus on writing a few years ago, and since has written numerous award winning novels and nonfiction books. He’s also a columnist for various outlets and did Cable TV appearances for many years. He’s also been a guest on my shows for 15 years, and has been warning about the threat China poses to us long before that. Regardless of who wins the election, China is still a major threat. We can’t take our eyes off the ball.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #239: Thoughts on the election and who’s REALLY in charge going forward

As we await the results of the election, I wanted to share my thoughts on what will happen regardless of outcome. Throughout human history, we’ve had to suffer through mostly rotten leadership. You may believe that Trump falls into the “rotten leader” category, or you may be terrified at the prospect of a Biden regime. Either way, God will still be on the throne.

Of course bad leaders can make our lives more difficult, but ultimately, it’s up to us to make the best decisions we can for our lives, and buck up when necessary. That’s all God holds you accountable for. Never let a politician steal your happiness. “Don’t put your trust in princes…” Psalm 146:3

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #238: Jihad Watch Director Robert Spencer on Nice terrorist attacks

Robert Spencer, Director of JihadWatch.org, has studied and written on Islam for decades. He’s been warning about France’s weak policies regarding Muslims who aren’t assimilating and pretending as if there isn’t a problem. Robert joined me about the terrorist attacks in Nice. Pay attention, France: There IS a problem.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #237: Guest – The Legendary Herschel Walker

Herschel Walker, the legendary NFL player, gave an amazing speech at the RNC Convention. I hadn’t realized he’d been friends with Donald Trump and his family for 35 years. He finds it insulting that people could call a man he’s spent so much time with a racist. Herschel joined me on my show the other day. In case you missed the live show, here’s our chat.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #236: Guest – Rudy Giuliani on what he personally saw on Hunter Biden’s Laptop

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani joined me to talk about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which he has seen, and the witnesses from Ukraine who aren’t allowed to come into the US and testify about the Biden Crime Family.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #235: Dr. Jay Richards on “The Price of Panic”

We’re all weary of the effect the Covid lockdowns have had on us. But are officials and doctors even telling us the truth? I think most people are coming to realize they’re not. What’s the true cost to business, society, or children?

Dr. Jay Richards is the co-author, along with William Briggs and Douglas Axe, of a great new book, “The Price of Panic; How the Tyranny of Experts Turned a Pandemic into a Nightmare”. He joined me on my live show last week. I had honesty forgotten how many times the “experts” and changed the “facts” to fit their narrative. It’s no longer about a virus – it’s about control, and they won’t give it up willingly.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #234: Sports Spectrum host Jason Romano on athletes and faith

, , , ,

I came across Jason Romano and Sports Spectrum quite by accident, (although I don’t really believe in “accidents” in God’s plan). A former producer for the biggest shows on ESPN for 17 years, Jason left because he felt called spiritually to do more with his life. On his Sports Spectrum podcast and website, he interviews professional and college athletes about their faith.

His latest book, The Uniform of Leadership, is eye-opening and inspiring. You get a behind-the-scenes view of what it’s like to work at ESPN and some great stories from the incredible athletes Jason met over the course of his career there, and continues to speak with today. Give it your son or daughter for Christmas (after you read it), or any sports fan you know.

Jason and I had a great chat about his career and the fact that as he was working his way up, and doing all the “grind jobs” in broadcasting, God was really directing his path so he’d have the varied skills necessary for his new ministry.

Heidi Harris Show Podcast #233: Democrat filmmaker discovers the truth about illegal immigration

What happens when a documentary filmmaker, who happens to be a Democrat, sets out to do a documentary on illegal immigration, and finds out that much of what she’s been told about immigration is a lie? Namrata Singh Gurjal, Director of America’s Forgotten, uncovers the lies immigrants are being told in other countries by the human smugglers, and the lies perpetuated by American politicians, encouraging them to risk their lives and the lives of their children.

She had a decision to make – continue with the film, and follow the trail where it led, or ignore the uncomfortable truth?
